Join us for a hands-on morning exploring the native plants, bush foods, and food traditions of Kulin Country.
Wurundjeri Council educator Joe will lead us through two hours of learning and doing:
- 10:00–11:00am — Bush tucker talk: discover the native plants and bush foods of this country, their uses, and their stories
- 11:00am–12:00pm — Damper making: learn about the history and tradition of damper, then make your own, with time to yarn and possibly walk along the creek discussing Country with Joe.
This is an all-ages event. Children are welcome and encouraged to join in.
Please note: Damper contains wheat flour and may contain dairy (milk and/or butter). It is not gluten-free. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before attending.
