Reconciliation supporters are invited to a special Victorian screening of the internationally acclaimed documentary Genocide in the Wildflower State on Thursday, 12 February 2026, from 5:30pm–7:30pm at Kino Cinema, 45 Collins Street, Naarm/Melbourne.

This powerful documentary exposes the state-run eugenics, racism, violence, and forced assimilation that targeted Aboriginal children in Western Australia for over six decades. Stolen Generations Survivors share vivid, heartbreaking testimony, supported by historical records, revealing the devastating impacts of government policies designed to suppress Aboriginal families, culture, and language.

The event includes a background discussion, the film screening, a panel conversation with Executive Producers Uncle Jim Morrison and Alan Carter, and an opportunity to yarn with the panel over refreshments. Tickets are free but booking is essential.

Reconciliation Victoria is proud to partner with the National Centre for Reconciliation, Truth, and Justice to host this screening.
