Join us to celebrate the launch of Andrew Gunstone’s Reflections on the Voice: During and After the Campaign.

This book is the first comprehensive exploration of the Referendum and its lasting impact on Australia’s ongoing national reconciliation journey.

Professor Gunstone’s book, written for a general audience, explores several key areas, including: reconciliation, racism, Indigenous rights, ‘equality’, truth-telling, community engagements, international agreements, such as UNDRIP, allyship, and recommitting to Voice, Treaty, and Truth.

Professor Gunstone is a leading authority on reconciliation. He is Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor Reconciliation at Federation University, where he established and leads the National Centre for Reconciliation, Truth, and Justice. He is also the Co-Chair of Reconciliation Victoria.

Eminent Indigenous leader, Dr Jackie Huggins AM FAHA, who wrote the Foreword, will launch the book, and will join Professor Gunstone on a panel to discuss reconciliation in a post-Referendum environment. The panel will be moderated by Uncle Charles Pakana, Founder of Victorian Aboriginal News.

The event is free, but bookings are required.
