Last year some of us joined with Reconciliation Banyule at a dawn gathering at Eltham North Adventure Playground (ENAP). Whilst it was freezing it was a magical time to be there. In 1938 William Cooper and other Aboriginal leaders asked Australian churches to set aside the Sunday before Jan 26th as Aboriginal Sunday — a day to act in solidarity with Aboriginal people and the injustices being experienced by them.
